The apostle Paul penned much about God's law and God's grace. He taught that we're not saved by keeping the law but only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (Ephesians 2:8,9So, is the law obsolete? Without purpose? Just ancient rules that have no application today?  By no means!!  Not only is it the Christian's compass to know what's pleasing to the Father - it also has a powerful, much-needed, soul-saving purpose in the world today.  This message, "The Law is Good", is from Paul's writings to pastor Timothy and to the churches in Rome and Galatia.   If you missed the Facebook live-stream of the service, you can watch the sermon right now by clicking on the "Watch Recent Sermons" tab in the upper right corner of this page, and selecting the message title. Follow along during the sermon by printing off/downloading study notes, too! .

Coryville Church of Faith is located between Smethport and Eldred, PA (Click here for a map).  We are an independent, evangelical church with roots in the Wesleyan-Arminian tradition.  All teaching contains a strong Biblical emphasis.  Worship services contain a blend of modern praise and worship songs along with traditional hymns.

Abbreviated Statement of Faith:

We believe that the 66 books of the Bible alone are the divinely inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God.

We believe in the Trinity.  There is only one true God who has always eternally existed as three distinct persons - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in Jesus' virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, vicarious death, resurrection, and His visible, bodily return.

We believe that when Adam sinned it affected the entire human race so that all enter the world with a fallen, sinful nature.

We believe that all have sinned, that salvation is made possible by God's grace, and that the only way anyone can receive salvation by repenting and placing his or her faith in Christ.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to minister and live a godly life. *(A more complete statement is available upon request.)
